Highlights –Agricultural University Palampur has taken the initiative to provide advanced training to its students in prestigious international institutions.
University Vice-Chancellor H.K. Chowdhary informed that 8 post graduates of the institute will soon go for advanced international training in France, USA, Japan and Philippines.
In the press conference of Diary Times, Vice Chancellor of Agriculture University Palampur H.K. Chaudhary said that such training plays a vital role in enhancing the knowledge and capability of the students in important areas of agriculture.
Apart from this, it also helps in improving the world science ranking through high quality research and effective research publications in science journals.
Contribute Research and education is our first task, so there is a competition in the research that is done from the whole world because it is a university, so our research should also be of world level.
For that we should be globally competitive and updated .
For that globally which are our developed countries, developed countries which are our laboratories, in different countries like we have USA, UK, Japan, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Turkey, Philippines, Israel is such that we have international laboratories in this country and those that have a name at the international level, our students should go there.
Our scientists should go there, they should have exposure and interaction. And it is very important to go abroad to see the work that we are doing here inside the mountains, and the modern technology that is used in it, it is very important to have exposure.
