Himachal News : Jairam Thakur expressed concern over the damage caused by heavy rains – urged the Center to provide all possible help to the state

Expressing concern over the damage caused by heavy rains in the state, opposition leader Jairam Thakur urged the central government to provide all possible help.

Jairam Thakur said that information is being received about people being trapped at many places and in such a situation, he has also demanded the state government to evacuate these people safely.

He also insisted on opening the blocked roads soon so that life could become normal. Expressing grief over the deaths due to heavy rains, Jairam Thakur has expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased.

He said – due to continuous heavy rains for the last three days, there has been a huge loss in the entire state. According to the information received so far, 9 people have lost their lives, which is a very sad news. The member has died, I pray to God, may God give strength to their women to bear.

Apart from this, huge damage has been done to many buildings, private houses and education in many places. I think that has never happened before.

I had a detailed conversation with my Chief Minister yesterday. We have said that at this time in this hour of disaster, we all should help in whatever way possible to save the lives of the people of Himachal Pradesh who are in trouble. He may come forward to help and I have given assurance of all kind of cooperation to Himachal Pradesh Government on behalf of my party. And I humbly request you that in such a situation we should stay safe in our homes.
