A large number of roads are being rejuvenated in Sirmour district under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. An amount of six crore rupees will be spent on the improvement work of Banka road, the home area of the first Chief Minister of the state, Dr. YS Parmar.
The demand for repairing this six kilometer long road was being raised for a long time. Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in Sirmour district is proving effective in the direction of improvement of the road.
Under this scheme, an amount of about six crore rupees will be spent towards the improvement of this road on the Bagathan Elana Banka road located in the home area of Dr. YS Parmar, the first Chief Minister of Himachal.
This budget has been approved by the Central Government and soon the work on this six kilometer long road will start in the direction of improvement.
Dozens of roads in Sirmour district are being worked on under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, under which the roads are being rejuvenated and thus the roads are also being rejuvenated.
