District level league football competition organized by Football Association at Dhalpur Maidan in Kullu.
District level league football competition has been organized by 7 side football union at Dhalpur ground in Kullu. It was inaugurated by Bhavik Thakur, Managing Director of Shobla Sathi Trust.
This competition is being organized by the Sangh with the aim of providing a platform to the youth to stay away from drugs and to advance in sports. Bhavik Thakur called upon the youth to actively participate in sports to remain physically and mentally healthy. .
He said – We are making an effort to give a message to the youth that as much as our youth, which you will see in today’s day, most of them are lost and many who are in the mobile generation, who are sitting at home because of mobile. Those who are not able to come out of their houses and many youths who are going towards drugs, I think that because of these competitions, we can give a good message to a society in which we do not allow them to get addicted to drugs. We can play an important role in keeping away from this addiction and in spreading an awareness towards fitness.
According to Sunny Thakur, president of the Footballs Association, enthusiasm is being seen in the youth of the district for football. Fifteen teams from Kullu district are participating in this competition.
