Agriculture Minister Chandra Kumar has said that necessary steps will be taken to promote traditional and natural agricultural products in aspirational district Chamba.

In a meeting in Chamba today, he said that the year 2023 is being celebrated as the International Year of Nutritious Cereals. In such a situation, an initiative has been taken to create awareness on the re-use of nine types of traditional and nutritious cereals.

The Agriculture Minister instructed the officials to encourage all the farmers in the district to adopt climate-friendly farming. He also reviewed the works of Animal Husbandry Department and gave necessary guidelines to the officers.

And at the same time, he also said that if farmers adopt traditional farming, then this farming is beneficial for the farmers as well as the land and due to this, the farmers also get to see good crops.
