State level program on 9th International Yoga Day in Nahan,More than 1000 participants from schools and institutions will be involved

A state-level program on the ninth International Day of Yoga will be organized in the state on June 21 at the historical Chaugan Maidan in Sirmour district, for which preparations are being made by the AYUSH department.

Sirmaur District AYUSH Department Officer Dr. Rajendra Singh told that this program will be presided over by AYUSH and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan. In view of Yoga Day, pre Yoga day activity has been started in Sirmaur district from June 1 itself.

He said that more than one thousand participants from various schools and institutions will participate in the state level Yoga Day program to be held on June 21.

Talking to Diary Times, the AYUSH Department official said – Our state level International Yoga Day of 2023, which is to be held on 21st June, is being celebrated at the historical Chaugan Maidan of Nahan and our Chief Guest, Honorable Thakur Harshvardhan Chauhan is our Chief Guest. Yes, Minister of AYUSH and Parliament will be the chief guest.

And along with this our special guest Mr. Ajit Solanki will be there and our department’s secretary, director and other participants will also come. So our nodal department in this is the AYUSH department and the administration is helping us in this.

So on this all our major institutions of Nahan, institutions of education and those who are from other ITIs and other institutions will participate.

And for this we have some NGOs like Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji’s who are also helping us, Patanjali’s are helping us. And there will be a coordinated effort of all the people in this department like police department and we have also informed the army officers. They are also cordially invited in this.
