Opposition of local panchayats in the construction of Bijli Mahadev Ropeway Project of Kullu

Members of local panchayats have taken to the streets in protest against the Bijli Mahadev ropeway project being built in Kullu, Himachal. And at the same time, there has been a huge amount of opposition to this project and this is the reason that apart from the panchayati members, a large number of common citizens are also opposing this project and all of them demand that the government as soon as possible Stop work on this project.

The local people believe that for this project, from where the land was approved for the ropeway, the government should continue the work of this project with the same land and at the same time people believe that Bijli Mahadev is our deity. And we don’t want to allow any kind of messing with our deity and if the government tampers with our mountains for this project, we will oppose it strongly and will try to stop this project as soon as possible.
