4 Children Among Injured In Mass Stabbing In French Town

There are reports of knife attacks on children in France. An assailant stabbed several children on Thursday in the town of Annecy in the French Alps. A man armed with a knife attacked a group of children as young as three at a park near a lake in the city at 9:45 a.m. (0745 GMT) on Thursday. The attacker has been arrested by the police. BFM TV reported that the attack took place in a park and that the attacker is a Syrian refugee. An attacker who broke into a park near Lake Annecy in the French Alps town in the south-east of France has fatally attacked children playing with a knife and there are reports of several children being badly injured.
