Paris Saint-Germain win Ligue 1 for a record 11th time

Thanks to good luck, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) club has won the French Cup for a record 11th time. Germain Club defeated Angers Club 1-0 in the final match played on Saturday night in the 100th edition of the tournament.

According to the news agency Xinhua, in this match played at the Stade de France stadium, the German club won the title not because of its performance, but because of good luck.

No goal was scored even after a lot of struggle from both the teams for the stipulated 90 minutes. In overtime of the match, a mistake by Avengers player Issa Csikho resulted in the victory for Jermaine.

Csikho made a mistake in the 91st minute to find the net for his own club, the Avengers, and as a result, the goal went to Germain’s account, which led to a 1–0 win for the club.

Before the start of the match, both clubs and spectators at the stadium also observed a minute’s silence in tribute to those killed in Monday night’s terrorist attack at the Manchester Arena. In this season, Germain Club has won the French Open as well as the French League Cup title.
