Russia bans entry to "500 Americans" including former US President Obama
Russia has banned 500 people from entering the country, including former US President Obama and comedian Stephen Colbert. This information was given in a statement issued by Russia on Friday.
Moscow has issued a statement that recently when Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was going to the United Nations, the US had denied visas to media persons traveling with him. In response to this, Russia has taken this step.
The statement said that Washington should have learned long ago that not a single hostile attack on Russia would go unpunished. Earlier on Friday, the US announced more than 300 sanctions against Russia, aimed at punishing Russia for its invasion of Ukraine and intensifying tougher sanctions.
