G7 Japan Hiroshima Summit 2023 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a six-day visit to three countries Japan, Papua New Guinea and Australia on Friday to participate in the multilateral summit including the Group of Seven (G-7). According to a statement by the Ministry of External Affairs, the Prime Minister will visit Hiroshima in Japan for the first time from May 19 to 21 to participate in the annual summit of the G7 Advanced Economies under the Japanese Presidency.

A Japanese Buddhist monk, Toyoshige Sekiguchi, poses with a sign outside the G7 International Media Center in Hiroshima. He is leading a unique protest, urging world leaders to maintain world peace and distance themselves from the use of nuclear weapons. He said that in 1945 an atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, so many people were killed. We don’t want more tragedy. We should live in peace.
