EAM S Jaishankar holds meeting with Sweden PM Ulf Kristersson
Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar, during his maiden visit to Sweden, discussed a range of issues during the inaugural session of the India Trilateral Forum on Monday.
Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar, during his maiden visit to Sweden, discussed a range of issues during the inaugural session of the India Trilateral Forum on Monday. Jaishankar is on a three-day visit to Sweden. Sweden currently holds the presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Jaishankar, along with his Swedish counterpart Tobias Billstrom, discussed a range of issues during the inaugural session of the trilateral forum, including issues related to India, Europe and the US. “Participated in the Indian Trilateral Forum in Stockholm this morning with Foreign Minister Tobias Billstrom,” Jaishankar tweeted.
“Had positive talks on a wide range of contemporary issues,” he said. Earlier during the meeting with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Christerson, the minister said that he conveyed personal greetings to him on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “We appreciate his commitment towards strengthening India-Sweden ties,” he said.
