Srinagar News The G-20 representative will act as the brand ambassador of Jammu and Kashmir. This will give a boost to local business. Shah said the delegates would act as ambassadors of Jammu and Kashmir to the world as a global tourist destination.

The delegates attending the G20 event later this month will act as brand ambassadors of Jammu and Kashmir and its tourism at the global level, thereby promoting local businesses. An official gave this information on Friday.

The third meeting will be held on 21-23

The third G20 Tourism Working Group meeting will be held in Srinagar from May 21-23. Tourism Secretary Syed Abid Rashid Shah said that the G20 event is a huge opportunity for Jammu and Kashmir and its tourism, directly and indirectly for other associated sectors like handicrafts, handlooms, hospitality and trade.

Such activities will serve as an additional attraction for tourists- Shah

Shah said the delegates would act as ambassadors of Jammu and Kashmir to the world as a global tourist destination. Talking to reporters after inaugurating hot air balloon, cycling and trekking activities at Jabarwan Park, Shah said such activities would act as an additional attraction for tourists.

The launch is a prelude to the main G20 event

The Tourism Secretary said that the launch of such adventure activities is a prelude to the main G20 event. Shah said that a cyclothon has also been started, in which most of the participants are from government schools. Such events will be increased in future so that tourists and local people can enjoy adventure tourism in the Union Territory.
