Lionel Messi wins Laureus Sportsmen of the Year 2023 award

Lionel Messi, captain of the World Cup-winning team and Argentina, has been named Laureus Sportsman of the Year Lionel Messi, a very good football player from Argentina, received a special award Laureus Sportsman of the Year in Paris for being a great player. His team from Argentina also won the award for being the best team of the year.

Messi got two big awards for being really good at sports, one for being the best player and the other for being part of the best team. He has become the first to receive both the awards in the same year!

Messi said that he is very happy because he has won an award which has been won by some really amazing people before. They are feeling special and honored to be included in this list.
