Engineers association takes up issue of vacant Managing Director posts
The Himachal Power Engineers Association (HPEA) have taken up the issue of vacant posts of Managing Director at Himachal Power Engineers’ Association levels in the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEB) with the board management.
In a recent meeting of the executive committee of the association with the board management of HPSEB, A demand charter of the HPEA was discussed with President of HPSEB Er. Lokesh Thakur And General secretary of HPEA Er. Tanuj Gupta .
The board assured it will recommend to the sate government that the post of director-level in Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL) be filled from the Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
In a statement released here today,general secretary of HPEA Er. Tanuj Gupta said the board management has also agreed to Discuss Recruitment Issues Faced By Himachal Power Engineers Association (HPEA) And Decided To Discuss Issues With Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Led Congress Government.
The issue of upgrading 40 per cent posts of chief engineer to engineers-in-chief on the pattern of PSEB was also discussed and the board management agreed to the proposal in principle subject to approval by the state government.
Other issues like revision of delegation of financial powers,rationalisation of norms and material management,it was decided to constitute a committee under the chairmanship of secretary,HPSEB,where due representation will be given to the members of HPEA.
The committee will submit its recommendations to the Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu After Allocation Of Meetings With 15 Members Delegations Of HPEA, Shimla.
