All flights of GoFirst Airlines, which is facing bankruptcy process, will remain closed till May 12. Go First Airlines said that due to operational difficulties, all types of flights will remain closed till May 12. Wherein, the passengers have bought tickets, then the company has said that the fare of the passengers who bought those tickets will be returned soon.

Wadia Group’s GoFirst Airlines, which is in debt of more than 6 thousand crores from more than 6 banks and creditors, applied in NCLT for bankruptcy resolution process on 2 May. The operation of all the aircraft is at a standstill due to other reasons including non-delivery of engines to Go First aircraft and non-payment of oil companies.

GoFirst said on Friday that the airline has canceled all its flights till May 12. Due to this, the company has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the customers. Refunds will be issued soon in the original mode of payment, the statement said. That is, the amount will be refunded on the same mode from which the passengers had booked the tickets. The statement added that the airline is committed to provide all possible assistance.
