Senior diplomat Harsh Vardhan Shringla has said a big thing about G20. He said that this time the chairmanship of G20 is in the hands of India. The result will be unmatched. Today the whole world looks at India as a country which can provide solutions to the current global problems.

Former Foreign Secretary and Chief Coordinator of India’s G20 Presidency Shringla on Tuesday addressed prominent members of the Indian-American and diaspora community at the launch event of his biography Not An Accidental Rise. Said that G20 is the most important international event organized by India since independence.

India is chairing the G20
India assumed the year-long chairmanship of the G20 on December 1 last year. India is hosting over 200 meetings and related events, which will culminate in a world leaders’ summit in New Delhi in September.

Shringla said that I have no doubt that the result that India will give at the time of G20 will be unprecedented. The world is currently facing tough times where the only certainty is uncertainty.

He said that many of our partners in the international community feel that if there is one country that is up to the challenge of providing solutions to the emerging global situations today, it is India. He said that India will fully live up to the expectations of the international community, especially the Global South, of which we are a part and have been its voice.
