G20 Summit: A scene like Dev Diwali will be seen in the second meeting of G-20
Preparations have been started for the summit of development ministers of G-20 countries to be held in June. During the meeting of the Group of Ministers, a scene like Dev Diwali would be seen in Kashi. For this, along with fireworks on the banks of the Ganges, the administration has started preparing for various events on the ghats. Along with this, events will also be organized to give a feel of Kashi’s religion, art and culture. After successfully completing the meeting of agricultural experts from April 17 to 19, the district administration is now preparing the city for the big G-20 meeting to be held in June. Along with landscaping, lighting in the city, an action plan is being sought from the departments to get more work done to beautify the city. Before the first meeting of the G-20, the mini park of land scaping, jungle theme made in the city was the center of attraction. Before the second meeting, beautification of the surrounding areas including Chaukaghat, Rudraksh and Ravidas Park will be done. Different events will also be organized to welcome the guests coming to Varanasi. The Airport Authority has started its preparations to increase the facilities at the airport as well. In this, along with the parking area, the new lounge will be made more convenient. After the G-20 Agriculture Working Group meeting, there will be five more meetings in Varanasi. There will be a meeting of development ministers from 11 to 13 June.

This meeting is considered most important for Varanasi. Reason, in this the development ministers of G-20 countries will brainstorm on urban development. Apart from this, Youth-20 Summit Engagement Group level meeting, Development Working Group meeting and Sustainable Finance Working Group meeting will also be organized here.
