Punjab: Army jawan detained in Bathinda military station firing case
In the case of the murder of four soldiers in Bathinda Military Station, the police has got a big success. Sources are telling that after five days of hard work, the Bathinda police has solved the murder case of four jawans. According to police sources, the soldiers were murdered by fellow soldiers. Bathinda police has arrested a soldier in this case. The accused has been identified as Desai Mohan.
SSP Gulneet Singh Khurana said that the Punjab Police team was probing the incident. During the investigation, when the eyewitness Gunner Disai Mohan was strictly questioned, the accused confessed to his crime.
The SSP said that the accused killed the four jawans due to his personal reasons. The accused first stole a rifle from the military station itself and then fired at all four with the same rifle. The accused has executed the incident due to mutual enmity.
Let us tell you that Desai Mohan was the only eyewitness in this case. The same informed his superiors that he saw two masked men dressed in white kurta-pyjama running away from the crime scene. They were reportedly wearing facemasks and one was carrying an INSAS rifle, while the other was carrying an axe.
However, the investigators said that the CCTV footage of the campus which has been scanned did not show any suspicious person. In such a situation, it is clear that the police was suspecting Desai Mohan. When the police strictly questioned him, he confessed to the crime.
