iOS 15.7.4 update: Apple has issued critical security update for these iPhones and iPads
Apple recently released iOS 15.7.4 and iPadOS 15.7.4 updates for some older-generation iPhones and iPads. The update fixes critical vulnerabilities, including an actively exploited WebKit vulnerability that could allow attackers to harm your iPhone or iPad. It’s recommended to download the iOS 15.7.4 or iPadOS 15.7.4 update, which includes critical security patches, for these older devices.
The update is available for the iPhone 6s series – iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, which were launched back in 2015.
The update has also arrived for the iPhone 7 series, which was introduced in 2016. This includes both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models. iOS 15.7.4 also comes for the first-generation iPhone SE, which was also launched in 2016.
The last iPod – the iPod touch (7th generation) has also received the security update. So, if you still have this iPod, do update to iOS 15.7.4.
