Pakistan issues 2856 visas to Sikh pilgrims for Baisakhi

Thousands Sikh Pilgrim To Visit Pakistan: Like every year, this time also a large number of Sikh pilgrims will go to Pakistan on the occasion of Baisakhi. Ahead of Baisakhi celebrations, the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi has issued 2,856 visas for Sikh pilgrims from India to participate in the annual festival to be held in Pak from 9-18 April 2023.

Visa has been issued under the protocol. It comes under the framework of the Pakistan-India Protocol on Visits to Religious Shrines of 1974.

Every year, a large number of Sikh pilgrims from India visit Pakistan to attend various religious festivals/occasions. A large number of Sikh pilgrims from India have been visiting Pakistan for Baisakhi. For religious travel between the two countries, Pakistan-India issue religious visas every year on the occasion of various festivals as per rules.
