French President Emmanuel Macron has visited China to discuss the problems of the world and what efforts can be made to solve them. Macron will also try to explain to China here how to establish peace in the world. Talks are also possible to clarify China’s stand on China’s support for Putin amid Ukraine’s war, North Korea’s frequent missile tests.

Macron, who arrived in China on a three-day visit, said during his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping that he would try to get China to join peace efforts in Ukraine. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has also visited China along with Macron. By doing so, a message of unity of the whole of Europe is being given in this diplomatic effort.

Macron addressed the French living in China
French President Emmanuel Macron also addressed the French living in China. During this, he said that he will try to make China bear its common responsibility on issues related to international peace and stability, including Ukraine, Iran and North Korea.

Praises Chinese efforts for peace in Ukraine
At an event held at the French embassy in China, Macron also mentioned Putin’s plan to deploy strategic nuclear weapons in Belarus. China opposes this. Macron also said that China proposed a plan in February to end the Russia-Ukraine war. According to him, France may not agree with that plan but still this plan shows Chinese efforts towards solving the problem. China has not criticized the Russian attack on Ukraine and the country describes itself as neutral. Along with partnership in solving international problems and peace in Ukraine, during this visit, Macron will also strengthen the economic ties between the two countries.
