Students upset due to non generation of admit card in UG first exam
Himachal Pradesh University’s first, second and third year undergraduate degree course examinations started across the state from Tuesday. Due to non-generation of online admit cards in all the centers on the day of the first examination and due to roll back roll numbers and admit cards of the students who were rolled back after re-evaluation, the staff and examinees posted on duty had to face trouble. However, no such case has come to the notice of any student being debarred from taking the examination in all the centres.

Colleges were already aware of the chaos and problems related to examination roll numbers and admit cards, so by deputing the teachers of the concerned subjects at the center level, seeing the ID cards of the students and generating online roll numbers along with their verification, the examinees were sent to the examination centers. Arrangements were made to get the examination done by sitting.

On the other hand, the Controller of Examinations of the University, Dr. JS Negi said that all the candidates were made to sit in the examination after solving the problems that came up on the first day of examination. Due to non-receipt of internal assessment from a college, there was a big case of non-generation of admit card, which was resolved with the help of the college. He said that due to the clash in the next examinations, changes have been made, the complete details of which were made available on the website of the University along with new old dates and subject and its code.
