Donald Trump set to speak from Florida’s Mar-a-Lago after arraignment

Former US President Donald Trump is set to give a public talk in Florida on Tuesday after appearing in New York on charges related to secret payments. According to US media, Trump is expected to appear in Manhattan court on Tuesday.

A New York grand jury indicted the former president on Thursday in connection with secret payments made by longtime fixer Michael Cohen to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election. According to CNN, his attorney said the former president will voluntarily surrender to New York law enforcement and plans to face legal challenges. However, Trump is expected to fly to New York on Monday before appearing in Manhattan Criminal Court. Trump will live at his Palm Beach estate Mar-a-Lago.
