Australia Women’s cricket team won the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023
Australia Women’s cricket team won the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup for the sixth time by defeating South Africa Women by eight wickets in the final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday.
Chasing a target of 149, Australia Women reached the target with eight wickets and 19 balls to spare. Meg Lanning (76 not out) and Elyse Villani (53 not out) were the main contributors to Australian Women.
This was Australia Women’s fourth consecutive ICC Women’s T20 World Cup final and they have now won the title on three occasions.
