The CEO of Virgin Atlantic, Shai Weiss, stated this with an example. 

• For example, US Airlines Delta moves through cities like San Francisco, Seattle, and Austin. These cities are the hub for large tech companies. If these companies decide to cut off the workforce traveling will decrease. Thus, this will cause a major impact on the airline industry.

A recent survey says that more than ten thousand people have lost their job in recent months.
