The Pat Cummins-led side will train at the Karnataka State Cricket Association Cricket ground in Alur, where they can concentrate on individual skills and get ready for India’s spinning tracks in a controlled environment.
The Vidarbha Cricket Association which will host the first test, also confirmed that the side captains will train in Bengaluru before reaching Nagpur. ” They are expected to arrive here (Magpie) on Feb 6. According to reports, the Australian team will train here on February 7 and 8. However, we are expecting to get a final confirmation soon as we do have to make agreements including security, practice pitches and other things, said a VCA source.
