“Indian Knowledge Supremacy: A New Dawn” book released by Honourable Education Minister Shri. Dharmendra Pradhan, during an event at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre. The book was released on 19th January 2023. The author of the book is Indian Expact, Dr. Ashwin Fernandes.  

As the name suggests the book is about the journey showcasing the changing trend in Indian Education. The book talks about the variation in the education system starting from Takshashila University to the present date. It focuses on India’s knowledge supremacy and the trend change India is going through. 

The book is for all age groups. 

AUTHOR

The author of this book is Indian Expat, Dr. Ashwin Fernandes. He is the Global Ambassador of the Global Quality Movement of Higher Education. He is an international expert in higher education. He is also the regional director for Middle East and South Asia at Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). 

QS or Quacquarelli Symonds is the World’s largest International Education Network that produces QS World ranking every year. He is the founder of India’s first nationwide private evaluation framework called QS I-GAUGE. He is Doctorate in Philosophy (D.Phil.) along with MBA in marketing and a B. Com degree in Financial Accounting and Taxation. 

Dr. Fernandes said, “Ancient universities like Nalanda and Takshashila attracted students from all around the world and nurtured them to be the brightest. But fate had a different path for our rich culture. Invasion, annexation, loot, and colonization significantly impacted our knowledge capital. the alternation in the techniques in teaching buried the original and enriched Indian education system. We finally broke the shackles of the British crown in 1947 but have continued to uphold English education, until the game-changer National Education Policy 2020 was released”.
