Himachal: 18 industrial houses interested in expansion in industries, sent proposals to Himachal government

The reputed industrial houses of India are keen to expand their respective industries in Himachal Pradesh. Eighteen industrial houses have sent proposals to the Himachal Pradesh government and expressed their desire to expand their respective industries. All eighteen industrial houses are interested to invest Rs 1182.18 crore in Himachal Pradesh. Due to the expansion of all eighteen industries, employment will be provided to more than 1,858 people.

It has become clear from the proposals for expansion in all the eighteen industries that the industrial houses are also going to get huge benefits from investment in Himachal Pradesh.

On the other hand, Himachal Pradesh government has also received proposals for setting up twelve new industries worth Rs 1083.84 crore.

With the establishment of all twelve new industries, more than 1,619 people of Himachal Pradesh are going to get direct employment.

Approval to all the industries is going to be given in the single window meeting to be held after the return of Honourable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu from New Delhi.

Most of the industrialists are most interested to expand their industries in BBN region.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu says that an investment of Rs 2,266 crore is proposed in the entire Himachal Pradesh in the new year 2024.

Proposals of thirty entrepreneurs have been received from the Himachal Pradesh government and with the setting up of all the industries, more than 3,500 youth of Himachal Pradesh are going to get direct employment.

Apart from Raghuvir Bali, Vice Chairman, Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC), Mansi Sahay Thakur, Director, Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation and Rohan Chand Thakur, Managing Director, Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) also accompanied CM Sukhu during his visit to Dubai. During CM Sukhu’s visit to Dubai, CM Sukhu himself had talks with all the interested entrepreneurs regarding investment in tourism, hydro projects and green energy.
