Himachal: Himachal Sub Inspector Mukesh Kumar Gets President’s Medal, Four Other Police Personnel Will Also Get Honour.

National Bravery and Service Awards have been announced by the Central Government on Thursday. According to the list released by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, in the year 2024, 1132 personnel of Police, Fire Service, Home Guard, Civil Defense and Correctional Service will be honored with various awards. Among the 1132 personnel, it has been announced to give National Gallantry and Service Awards to 667 Police Service personnel, 32 Fire Service personnel, 27 Civil Defense and Home Guard Service personnel as well as 27 Correctional Service personnel.
Assistant Sub Inspector Mukesh Kumar from Himachal Pradesh will be awarded the President’s Medal for distinguished service.
While four other policemen from Himachal Pradesh will be awarded Police Medal for meritorious service.
Himachal Pradesh Police IG Sumeda Trivedi, Police Inspector Omprakash and Vinod Kumar Sharma as well as Head Constable Ram Kishan have been selected for the Police Medal.
