Una, 6 September: A youth died after being hit by Indore Express train in Basal, Una. The deceased youth has been identified as Narendra Kumar son of Ved Prakash resident of Upper Basal.
According to the information, Indore Express train reached Una station on Friday morning and after disembarking the passengers, it was going to Churaru Takarala station. On reaching Basal, Narendra came under the train, due to which Narendra Kumar died on the spot.
After receiving the information, the Railway Police reached the spot and took the body in its custody. The Railway Police got the post-mortem of the body done in the regional hospital and handed it over to the family members. Further investigation is being done.
In-charge of Railway Outpost Una, ASI Ajay Airy said that the body has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. Further action is being taken.
