Student Parliament was organized today at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Pekhubela, near Una District Headquarters.
The objective of organizing Student Parliament is to make students aware about the Indian Constitution and democratic system.
During Student Parliament, students shared views on many issues and gave important suggestions for the progress of the country.
BJP leader and former minister, Virendra Kamal was specially present on this occasion.
He appreciated the efforts being made to strengthen democracy
He said that through such events students get interested in everything from government formation to welfare schemes made for the citizens of the country.
This competition that is being organized is really a unique one, this online competition is being organized by all the Navodaya Vidyalayas here and in this I feel that there is such awareness within the society and that too among the children.
This initiative is being taken and they are trying to show so much for it and I congratulate all the professions very much and it is very important for these people to make a difference to the children too because the students who are there, We believe that this is the future of India, but I would say that the kind of conduct I am seeing is really an example for us too.
