Due to heavy rains and floods in Una district, there has been a loss of about eighty-three crore rupees. Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma said that all the roads closed for traffic in the district have been restored and power supply has also been made smooth.
He said that the administrative and departmental teams are constantly in the field and relief is being given to the people. The Deputy Commissioner said that ration is being supplied to the migrant laborers by the administration and arrangements have also been made for their stay.
He said – Our administrative teams are in the field for the last three days and those whose houses have been damaged or their goods have been damaged. We have given them money as immediate relief and also distributed tarpaulins. The cash relief of about four lakhs has been given to the people.
And apart from this, the migrant laborers who are available to us since three days, the availability of ration is also being done by the administration. So all the administrative team is still engaged in relief work and District Una We are trying to ensure that whatever situation has worsened due to the flood, those things can be restored as soon as possible.
