UEFA Champions League Semi-Final Leg 1: Manchester City 1-1 Real Madrid draw first match

The UEFA Champions League semi-final leg 1 match between Real Madrid and Manchester City ended all square (1-1) at the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid on Wednesday. Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City dominated the first half as they played well against their opponents. But as Real Madrid always do, they attacked City on the counter-attack and scored against the run of play. 20-year-old Real Madrid player Eduardo Camavinga passed to Brazilian player Vinicius Junior, who hit the ball from outside the penalty box. Before Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson could react, the ball was already in his net. Real Madrid lead 1-0 at the end of the first half.

Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne equalized the score in the second half of the match. His goal came in the 67th minute of the match. The Belgian hit the ball with the side of his boot, giving Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois no chance.

And thus the first leg of the semi-final was drawn between both the teams and it will be very interesting to see who wins this semi-final.
