It has already been banned in India due to security and privacy reasons. Tiktok was banned in India in June 2020. Only after this the controversy related to this Chinese app started. Tiktok ban had a big impact in India and due to this many other countries of the world also became alert from Tiktok. Now recently a big step has been taken against Tiktok in the United States of America.

Tiktok has been completely banned in the US state of Montana. With this, Montana has become the first US state where Tiktok has been completely banned. On Friday, Montana lawmakers decided to ban TikTok in the state and passed an order to enforce it.
