Technical snag hits Mumbai local train services

Mumbai suburban local train services were affected due to a technical glitch after an overhead wire on the Churchgate-bound fast line between Dahisar and Borivali snapped, the Western Railway informed on Wednesday.
Sumit Thakur, CPRO, Western Railway said.

According to officials, three trains were stopped and others were diverted.
Earlier in December, the signal to Mumbai’s Jui Nagar suffered a technical glitch, informed Central Railway officials.
As per reports, the signal point was not available since morning.
Central Railway’s SPRO said, “Services are active between CSMT and Vashi on Harbor Line and Thane to Nerul on Trans-Harbour Line. Staff is resolving the issue. It will be resolved in next 15-20 minutes.”
