Additional Deputy Commissioner Ajay Yadav said that according to the instructions given by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, the district administration has made proper arrangements for food and accommodation for the disaster affected people.
He said that a total of forty-five buildings have been damaged in Shamti area so far, out of which twenty-five buildings have been completely damaged, while cracks have appeared in twenty others. Ajay Yadav said that measures have been ensured by visiting Shamti area along with geologists.
And the cracks in the hills of the area are being filled with a mixture of ash and lime. Told them that notice boards have also been installed in the peace zone for the safety of the general public.
And police are also being formed regularly. The Additional Deputy Commissioner said that various construction works in the area have been completely banned and instructed the Jal Shakti Department to pump out excessive groundwater in the area through bore wells. went.
