A speech competition was organized today by All India Radio Center Shimla under G-20 at Government College Kotshera in the capital Shimla.
Students from six educational institutions of the city participated in this competition. On this occasion, many dignitaries including cluster head of All India Radio and Doordarshan and Deputy Director General Gurvinder Singh were present.
In his address, Gurvinder Singh said that India has successfully chaired the G20 conference. Which is a matter of pride for all the countrymen. He boosted the morale of the participants and also wished for their bright future.
Your country presided over the G20 group of countries this year. It is a matter of great pride for all of us. Many programs were organized across the country to mark this occasion.
Various programs were also organized by Prasar Bharati at different centers in the country.
In this series, a program of public interest and music was organized by Akashvani Shimla at the gaiety theater in July.
The G 20 summit was successfully organized in New Delhi from 8th to 10th September. In which all the heads of G 20 countries participated.
I hope that all the contestants will participate enthusiastically in this event.

Nikita Dhiman of Government College, Sanjauli secured first position in the speech competition.
