Shimla – On the occasion of National Unity Day in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, Run for Unity provided the message of national unity and also successfully administered the oath to strengthen national unity to all the participants. In the Run for Unity competition organized on the occasion of National Unity Day, Chief Guest Harish Janartha, MLA from Himachal Pradesh’s capital Shimla Urban, successfully flagged off the Run for Unity program in the capital Shimla. Children from all the schools of Shimla city participated in the Run for Unity race.
Run for Unity competition successfully organized in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh –
On the occasion of National Unity Day on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India, Run for Unity competition was successfully organized at the Ridge Ground in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh.
Chief guest in the program, Shimla Urban MLA of Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Harish Janartha inaugurated the Run for Unity competition by flagging off the Run for Unity competition on the occasion of National Unity Day.
Children from all the schools of Shimla city successfully participated in the Run for Unity Marathon competition.
During the Run for Unity competition, oath was also administered to all the people and school children of Shimla city in the oath taking program of National Unity.
The Run for Unity competition organized at the Ridge Ground in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, was flagged off as per the route till Chhota Shimla via Scandal Point of the capital Shimla.
In the main program, Himachal Pradesh Forest Department Vice Chairman Kehar Singh Khachi, DC Shimla Aditya Negi and local youth councilor Ankush Verma were present in the Run for Unity competition.
Tribute paid to former Prime Minister of India Shri Indira Gandhi in Run for Unity program –
Pledge of national unity was administered –
On the occasion of National Unity Day in the capital Shimla, on the death anniversary of former Prime Minister of India Mrs. Indira Gandhi, Honorable Governor of Himachal Pradesh Shiv Pratap Shukla, Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Mukesh Agnihotri, Honorable Health Minister of Himachal Pradesh Colonel Dhaniram Shandilya, PWD Minister. Vikramaditya Singh, Urban MLA from Himachal Pradesh capital Shimla Harish Janartha, Theog Assembly MLA Kuldeep Rathore and Shimla Mayor Surendra Chauhan along with other dignitaries and all the guests successfully paid homage. Besides, the oath of national unity was also administered in the entire program on the occasion of National Unity Day.
