Search for life with live detector device, pictures of rescue of one year old innocent came out
Shimla, 03 August: The hope of finding life in the rescue operation going on in search of missing people since the August 1 tragedy in Samej village of Himachal Pradesh seems to be fading. Efforts are being made to search for the bodies. Earlier the rescue operation was being carried out manually, but after Saturday afternoon the operation has been started in a mechanized manner. Also, the help of sniffer dogs is also being taken.
Meanwhile, a touching video of the rescue operation also surfaced on Saturday, in which a jawan of the NDRF team rescued a dog along with a one-year-old child safely from across the river. Although the family could have been rescued earlier, but due to the cattle, the family had refused to leave from there.
In the Samej disaster, the NDRF team has started using live detector devices to find the missing people buried under the debris. On Saturday, the help of live detector devices was taken in the search operation in the affected area, but no clue could be found even with this. Along with this, sniffer dogs have also been made a part of the search operation so that the quality of the search operation can be further improved.
Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap said that with the help of live detector device, search operation is being done under the debris to see if anyone is buried under the debris, but no information has been received from this yet. The device will be used as long as the search operation continues. Along with this, the help of sniffer dogs is also being taken. The Rampur Treasury Office will also remain open till 12 o’clock every night till further orders so that disaster relief work is not affected.

On Saturday, the NDRF team has started the search operation on the other side of the ravine by building a temporary bridge. Due to the fast flow of water, there was difficulty in building a temporary bridge for two days. The team conducted a search operation on the other side of the ravine from morning till evening today, but no information could be found about the missing people.
Live detector device….
The live detector device is a life identification device used during rescue operations after disasters. Wireless or wired seismic sensors detect signs of life (vibrations) under the rubble and then accurately locate the victims. It is a waterproof communication detection system, equipped with a 26 feet cable, through which the buried victims can be contacted and it can be assessed what kind of help they need. Lightweight and compact, the Leader Search Control Box is powered by a rechargeable battery with a life of one and a half hours.

Due to the relief amount to be given to the affected and victims of the Samej tragedy and other rescue operations, the Rampur Treasury Office will now remain open till 12 midnight every day. Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap has issued the said order under Section 30 of the Disaster Management Act 2005. These orders will be in force with immediate effect till further orders.
301 member search operation team in Samej, 61 member search operation team in Sunni….
301 soldiers are involved in the search operation going on in Samej. These include 67 NDRF, 69 police personnel, 30 ITBP personnel, 110 Army personnel and 25 CISF personnel. While the search operation in Sunni has a 61-member team, which includes 30 NDRF, 14 SDRF, 07 police and 10 Home Guard personnel.
