Preet Mahendra given provincial command of HRTC Conductor Union, Jeevan Singh to be President
Shimla, September 08: Provincial elections of Himachal Pradesh Transport Corporation (HRTC) Conductor Union were concluded unanimously. Preet Mahendra was elected as the Pradhan in the elections held in a private hotel near the head office under the chairmanship of the union’s founder Pyare Lal Kashyap.
During this, Jeevan Singh has been given the responsibility of the post of President, while Pankaj Kumar (Rohru) and Mohan Lal Nayak (Sundernagar) have been elected as Vice Presidents. Naveen Thakur and Pratap Verma (Rampur) have become senior vice-presidents. Satpal Chad (Una), Subhash (Baijnath) have been made acting vice-presidents.
Among the divisional heads, Rajendra Negi (Volvo Unit) was elected as the head of Shimla Division, Sahil Chaudhary as the head of Dharamshala Division, Arvind Kumar as the head of Hamirpur Division, and Sanjeev Kumar as the head of Mandi Division.
On the other hand, Dipendra Kambar (CBA CHD) has been appointed as General Secretary, Om Prakash (Sundernagar) and Keshav Ram (Mandi) as Joint Secretary. Devendra Kumar (Nalagarh) has been appointed as Treasurer while Balram (Hamirpur) and Sunil Kumar (Dharampur) have been appointed as Joint Treasurers.
Chaman Lal, Sunil Kumar, Ravi Kumar, and Manav Kumar (Terras) have been appointed as auditors. The responsibility of Publicity Secretary has been given to Jitendra Kumar, Prakash Chand and Amrish Rana. Lalit Kumar (Mandi), Naresh Kumar, Dinesh Kumar (Nalagarh), and Bhuvaneshwar Gaur (Kullu) have been appointed as Press Secretaries.
Pyaare Lal Kashyap and Yashwant Thakur will be the Chief Advisors. Vikrant Thakur, Abhishek and Ranjit Singh have been appointed as Legal Advisors. Pramod Thakur has been elected as Organization Minister, Pyare Lal, Reena, Sushma, and Shila have been elected as Joint Organization Ministers. On this occasion, the office bearers of the union resolved to work together to make the organization stronger.
