Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Papua New Guinea on Sunday after attending the G-7 and Quad meetings in Japan. Here he attended the 3rd Summit of the Forum for India-Pacific Islands Co-operation (FIPIC). After the meeting, PM Modi has taken another step towards friendship by meeting the leaders of many countries of the Pacific region. For these steps of India as a global leader, the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea and Fiji conferred PM Modi with their country’s highest honor – ‘Companion of the Order of Fiji’.
