New twist in Churah MLA molestation case: Girl files complaint against Alka Lamba and 9 other Congress leaders
Churah, August 27: In a shocking development, the alleged molestation case involving Churah MLA Hans Raj has taken a new turn. The young woman at the centre of the case and her father visited the Teesa police station to lodge a complaint against ten Congress leaders, including Mahila Congress national president Alka Lamba.
The girl has accused Narendra Kumar, Yashwant Khanna, Dildar Ali, Sharif Mohammad, Yakub, Jamaat Ali, Lekhraj, Veer Singh and Alka Lamba of defaming her. According to the complaint, these individuals have spread misleading information about her, misusing her name, religion and family reputation for political gains. She said their actions have caused considerable damage to her social reputation and mental health.
The girl clarified that her initial complaint against MLA Hans Raj was based on a misunderstanding, which she has later explained to both the police and the judge. Despite this, he alleges that the aforesaid Congress leaders have continued to misuse his name and the case, and have attempted to give it a religious colour to further their political agenda.
Superintendent of Police Chamba Abhishek Yadav confirmed the filing of the complaint and said an investigation has been initiated based on the allegations.
