Retired Brigadier Khushal Thakur, who was the hero of the Kargil war from Mandi district, is carrying out plantation work in the name of brave sons under the program of saluting the soil and saluting the heroes to remember the brave martyrs of the country.
Khushhal Thakur said that these next twenty-five years are of Amrit Kaal, so everyone should follow the path of Prime Minister’s five leaves and work for a developed India.
This year, on the occasion of 15th August, a huge campaign, Meri Mati Mera Desh Ka, is being run by the respected Prime Minister in the whole of India. In respect and tribute to him will be given by the whole country.
Under this program, the soil of thousands of villages of India will be brought to Delhi along with the plants in 7500 urns and a grand Amritvatika will be established near the National War Memorial itself and this is a great honor. There will be respect for those heroes and for their families.
