Major accident in Chamba: Two people died after Alto car fell into a deep ditch, condition of one critical.
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Chamba, April 20:A heart-wrenching accident has come to light late night in Lahra of Khadjauta Gram Panchayat falling under Chakoli-Kandhwara-Himgiri road in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh.
Here, two people have died while a youth has been seriously injured when an Alto car going from Lahra to Dhalla went out of control and fell into a deep ditch near Lahra Zero Point.
All the injured were taken out of the deep ditch with the help of police and local people and taken to Kihar Hospital. Two people died during treatment and the condition of one injured is critical.
In the incident, Deputy head of Khadjauta Gram Panchayat Nagesh, village Siyul and depot holder Chatro Ram, village Lahra tehsil Saluni are deceased, along with the injured Kuldeep son of Bhagman, village Dhalla, treatment is going on.
