Highlights –All Government Officials Senior Officers Posted in Lahaul Spiti district will teach children of classes IX and X in Kendriya Vidyalaya Keylong one day a week.
Apart from teaching their favorite subjects, these officers will prepare the children for competitive examinations and also give them career counseling.
This decision was taken in the meeting of the school management committee of Kendriya Vidyalaya.
Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar said that keeping in view the needs of the school, this decision has been taken and the children will also be taken on an educational tour.
Chairman, Head of VMC Committee, Rahul Kumar while talking to Diary Times said that all the government officials will give their time here every week and whatever interaction session will happen with the children, there will be a little bit of career counseling plus basic discussion about this education.
Rahul Kumar while talking to Diary Times said that We Taken This Decision With regard to career opportunities, whatever our background may be physics, chemistry, maths, social, science, there will be good classes on this too, there will be interaction, there will be a motivation, so we had decided this.
