State BJP general secretary Trilok Kapoor has urged the state government and the Lahaul-Spiti district administration to arrange helicopters to help the sheep herders stranded near Batal in the district.
He said that these sheep herders got trapped in the heavy snowfall and their food items have also run out. Tillo Kapoor told that the information about these sheep herders has been received only this morning.
He has demanded the government to provide all facilities to the nomadic sheep herders in case of disaster and to get the pastures reiki done through helicopter so that information about the trapped sheep herders can be obtained.
At the same time, he also said that if the government takes a quick decision about this, then definitely the lives of all those sheep farmers can be saved.
