Drinking water supply has been resumed for Kullu district. After Sarvari drinking water scheme, which supplies drinking water to Kullu, was completely damaged in the flood, now alternate arrangements have been made to provide water through Soma Uthaao, drinking water scheme to the city.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said in a press conference in Kullu late evening that the system of drinking water supply to Kullu city will continue till Sarvari drinking water scheme is restored.
He told – Under the Sauma Uthao drinking water scheme, water has been lifted for the main tank located at Beej, from where drinking water will be supplied to the basic high places.
And this was commissioned in 2019, there was a scheme of 20 crores under UIDAI SMT, but after this plastic, our main scheme, which was made in 2019, this scheme has been greatly affected and it needs to be repaired now.
