Kinnaur Accident: Two Truck Catches Fire After Collision On National Highway In Kinnaur Himachal Pradesh

Kinnaur – In a horrific accident that took place in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, two trucks collided head to head In Kinnaur national highway and both trucks were burnt to ashes due to smoke and fire.

In Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, a truck laden with fruits and vegetables going towards Reckong Peo had a fierce collision with a truck coming from the highway, both the trucks caught fire due to which both the trucks were completely destroyed and both the trucks Have been burnt.
As soon as information was received about the massive fire in both the trucks, teams of fire brigade personnel arrived from Kinnaur city and immediately started the work of extinguishing the fire, but till now the fire has not been completely controlled.
Truck number (HP 63 C 2942) laden with fruits and vegetables, going from Kinnaur National Highway towards Reckong Peo, was going at a high speed towards the vegetable markets of the city.
On the other hand, vehicles coming from the other side, truck number (HP 25 C 8026) were being allowed to enter from Tapri via Kinnaur National Highway via Shongtong.
The collision between the two trucks took place due to uncontrolled head-on collision on the National Highway near Ralli Pulia via Kalpa in Kinnaur district.
Due to mutual collision between the two trucks, both the trucks caught fire.
A truck driver was injured in the complete truck accident, due to which the truck driver has been referred to District Hospital Reckong Peo in injured condition.
After a lot of hard work by the team of fire brigade personnel who reached from Kinnaur city, the entire fire has been brought under control by the teams of fire brigade personnel of Kinnaur district administration.
After extinguishing the fire, both the trucks were completely damaged and the entire traffic system was being diverted through another route.
At present, the traffic system for National Highway 5 has been kept operational from Reckong Peo side.
