Kangra News : Food Corporation of India has opened a food store in Bhavarna of Kangra district with the aim of stabilizing the prices of food grains. Under this food store, 70 thousand quintals of wheat have been e-auctioned in the district so far this year.
Food store manager Jigmen Dorje said that information about e-auction is being issued every Friday and e-auction is organized every Wednesday.
He said that demanding buyers can bid for a minimum quantity of ten metric tons. He said – Under this scheme, till now this year, in the year 2023, seventeen thousand quintals, that means seven thousand MT of wheat has been auctioned in Kangra district.
Which has a little stability in the rate. The main objective of our scheme is to stabilize the rate which is increasing in the market.
In this the indenting buyer can bid for a minimum quantity of ten metric tonnes. The minimum is ten per cent and can bid for a maximum of 100 metric tonnes for wheat and in case of rice, minimum ten MT and maximum Can shoot for more than 1000 MT at a time.
He said that traders are not allowed to participate in this e-auction process. The auction window will be kept open from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on the day of e-Auction.
